Symphonically Yours! Musical Love Stories, A Benefit Concert for the Pollard Memorial Library
The GLSO at AcreFest at North Common Amphitheater - In collaboration with Coalition for a Better Acre, a concert to celebrate their vital work. This collaboration is a wonderful way for the GLSO to bring symphonic music to this vibrant neighborhood.
Colors of the Orchestra - A family concert designed to inspire and engage kids of all ages by focusing on the music and sounds of the orchestra! Child-centered activities include: interaction during musical selections, coloring, meeting the musical instruments and listening to musical samples to foster curiosity.
A Lowell Fourth of July - A patriotic celebration which places Lowell in the national spotlight! This program offers something exciting for everyone - Americana, Armed Services salutes, the Lowell High School Marching Band, popular local performers, movie music, Ellington jazz, and much more! With symphonic selections from Charles Ives to John Williams, including music by Lowell born composer George Chadwick - leading up to the grand finale fireworks!
