Symphonic Pops at AcreFest - Saturday June 8, 11am-2pm (Rain Location, Murkland School - onsite)

The GLSO in collaboration with Coalition For a Better Acre (CBA) presents a free community concert during the AcreFest  Resource Fair (North Common Park - 413 Fletcher St. Lowell) to celebrate CBA's vital work!  This collaboration helps the GLSO bring symphonic music to one of Lowell's most vibrant neighborhoods, The Acre!  There will be food, music and raffles!                                                                                              • Symphonic Pops Series •

The GLSO presents a free community concert (North Common Park - 413 Fletcher St. Lowell).

Symphonic Pops at National Night Out Tuesday, August 6, 5pm-7pm (Rain Location, Murkland School - onsite)

A free outdoor community concert in collaboration with Coalition For a Better Acre (CBA). National Night Out strengthens neighborhood connections and relationships, fostering a true feeling of community.  Come meet new people and learn more about the wonderful programs available around Lowell. (North Common Park - 413 Fletcher St. Lowell).

Colors of the Orchestra 

A family concert designed to inspire and engage kids of all ages! Child-centered activities focus on the music and sounds of the orchestra and include: interaction during musical selections, coloring, meeting the musical instruments and listening to musical samples to foster curiosity.

 

A Lowell Fourth of July 

A patriotic celebration which places Lowell in the national spotlight!  This program offers something exciting for everyone - Americana, Armed Services salutes, the Lowell High School Marching Band, popular local performers, movie music, Ellington jazz, and much more!  With symphonic selections from Charles Ives to John Williams, including music by Lowell born composer George Chadwick - leading up to the grand finale fireworks!
